Mission Statement

The primary mission of the Economic Development Council is to build a sustainable regional economy through economic development programs for the Cities of Cascade, Donnelly, Lake Fork and McCall located in Valley County and Garden Valley, Crouch, Lowman in Boise County. Our priorities for the Council involves the marketing for and recruitment of new businesses, retaining and expanding existing businesses, creating jobs, building a larger tax base for the benefit of all residents, assisting in the development of affordable community housing and maintaining a high quality of life.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS – SUCCESS

Over the past eight years our Economic Development Council has been instrumental in recruiting or facilitating the expansion of 19 companies providing over 502 jobs in Valley County. These companies will add $9,500,000 in payroll and $17,147,000 in capital investment to the county’s economy. The money spent by these businesses on payroll, property taxes and capital improvements will continue to flow in our local economy for years to come.
