Valley County, Adams County,
Cities of Cascade, Donnelly, McCall, New
Meadows, & Council
Dear Neighbor,
As you may know, our region is
conducting a survey of its residents’
perceptions with a number of features of our
community. The purpose of our survey is to
develop an understanding of what is good about
our area and what can be improved to make it a
better place to live, work, play, and raise a
family. We would like to ask for your help in
developing this understanding by sharing your
perceptions with us.
Following this letter is a survey
developed by the Idaho Community Review, a
partnership of researchers and community
development specialists from many different
agencies, including the Association of Idaho
Cities, Idaho Rural Partnership, Idaho Commerce
& Labor, Boise State University, and others.
The survey items ask about residents’
perceptions of the quality of a number of
features of their community. This survey has
been used in several other communities in Idaho,
and the responses to the surveys have helped
those communities to plan for the future in ways
that fit the views of their residents. We would
like to be able to do the same here in our
region.
The best way to complete the
survey is to go to the electronic website at
http://survey.boisestate.edu/Valley/content/Valley.asp
If you choose to complete the electronic
survey, it should take about 10 minutes of your
time.
If you prefer, you can download
and print this survey online at
http://www.ValleyCountyEconomicDevelopment.com
or
http://IRP.idaho.gov under 'Community
Review,' and 'Valley/Adams Planning
Partnership.' When you finish completing the
survey, simply seal it for confidentiality and
return it to one of the above City Halls or
County Commissions.
Either way, please return the
survey by May 27th.
If you are not interested in
completing the survey, perhaps you would be kind
enough to share it with a neighbor who might
like to complete it. If you do choose to
complete the survey, we thank you for your time
and for helping us to know how to make
communities in our region even more livable.
Sincerely,
Members of the Valley/Adams
Planning Partnership
